Impact Brain Tumor Research With Donations

Create Your Brain Tumor Awareness Month Fundraiser

May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month. It’s the perfect time to join the fight against brain cancer by creating your own fundraiser. Your family and friends can make an impactful brain tumor research donation in support of the Ivy Brain Tumor Center at Barrow.

Fundraise through Barrow Neurological Foundation

This is a fun and easy way to raise awareness and funds for critical brain tumor research. All you have to do is go to https://supportbarrow.rallybound.org/ivy-brain-tumor-center-at-barrow and click “Create a Fundraiser” to get started.

Once you create your fundraiser, share it with your family and friends and ask them to make a tax-deductible donation to support the important brain tumor research happening at the Ivy Center. The best part is 100% of every dollar raised will go directly to fund the Ivy Center’s clinical trials program.

How to create a fundraiser

Not sure what type of fundraiser you want to create? Check out the following ideas. You can also make a tax-deductible donation to any of the example fundraisers below.

$10 for a cure in 10 years: Try to raise $10 from 10 friends to help the Ivy Brain Tumor Center in its mission to contribute to a cure for brain cancer in 10 years.

Get your pets or kids involved: Dressing up your pet in different outfits for certain donation amounts or hosting a virtual bake sale with your kids is a great way to have them join the fight against brain cancer.

Do a personal challenge: Grow a beard, dye your hair, or let your kids choose your outfit for the day when your fundraising goals are met.

Do a physical challenge: Run, walk, hike, or bike to raise awareness for brain cancer research. Dr. Joe Tedesco is biking across the country in honor of his friend Nate and his courageous battle with glioblastoma.

This Brain Tumor Awareness Month, we hope you join us in the fight against brain cancer by creating your own fundraiser, and as a thank you for your brain tumor research donation, we will send you a Barrow Brain Pen and Brain Tumor Awareness ribbon!
