Dr. Kaith Almefty received his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his medical doctorate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. His neurosurgical training was undertaken at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona and he subsequently completed a fellowship in skull-base surgery at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Almefty has received a variety of accolades in medicine and neurosurgery for his academic achievements. As a neurosurgical oncologist and co-investigator at the Ivy Brain Tumor Center, Dr. AlMefty specializes in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant brain tumor patients.
