First-in-class Noninvasive Therapy for Glioblastoma Enters Phase 0 Trial at Ivy Brain Tumor Center
Earlier this year, the Ivy Brain Tumor Center received FDA approval for a Phase 0 clinical trial to study a first-in-human drug-device combination that uses MRI-guided focused ultrasound in combination with aminolevulinic acid to selectively target and kill tumor cells. The Ivy Brain Tumor Center is conducting the first-ever Phase 0 clinical trial for newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients. This study will evaluate BeiGene’s pamiparib in combination with fractionated radiotherapy and will also be available to patients with recurrent glioblastoma.
